Hirosuke Horii Full Professor
Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering | Graduate School
Laboratory Laboratory of digital engineering and soft computing
Main research interests Design and control of mechanical systems by application of intelligent information processing technology
Research overview We are conducting research on mechanical systems design and control using CAD/CAE computing applied design, VR/AR simulation, AI/IoT autonomous control, and connected engineering. In recent years, the need for human resources in the manufacturing industry that can respond to the qualitative changes in the industry has attracted attention. We plan to develop human resources who can acquire information processing technology such as AI/IoT and combine them with mechanical engineering knowledge to create new values.
